    A NOAA fisheries law enforcement officer measures the tri-net on board the Miss Coral J. The net used for commercial fishing on the vessel was illegally being used to capture shrimp. The net was five feet to large and did not have a Turtle Exclusion Device (TED). 4,000 pounds of shrimp were seized. Coast Guard photo by PA3 Robert Nash.

    The Coast Guard Cutter Kingfisher crew spotted the crew of the Christopher Joe while they were illegally fishing inside the Oculina Banks.     Long lining gear used by the crew of the fishing vessel Christopher Joe to catch Golden Tilefish in the Oculina Banks. The Oculina Banks is a restricted fishing area east of Cape Canaveral, Fla.
