Fishing vessel Diligence towed by good Samaritan

BOSTON- The Coast Guard was notified that the fishing vessel Diligence, that was disabled earlier today, was put in tow by a good Samaritan vessel Friday Feb. 5, 2010.

The Coast Guard Cutter Grand Isle was scheduled to tow the vessel to Buzzards Bay but has resumed their patrol.

Coast Guard Sector Southeastern New England will continue a one hour communications schedule with the Diligence and will be standing by if they need any further assistance.
