BOURNE, Mass.- The media are invited to attend a welcome home ceremony for the members of Port Security Unit 301 at Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod in Bourne, Mass., Jan. 23, 2010. The Port Security Unit 301 has been activated for more than nine months and is scheduled to return home from a deployment to Kuwait, Saturday. What: Welcome home ceremony Who: Port Security Unit 301 When: Jan. 23, 2010 at 12:15 a.m. Where: Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod PSU 301 is comprised of 140 selected reservists and six active duty personnel. The PSU was established Aug. 25, 2005, to support the Coast Guard’s mission to provide port security and anti-terrorism force protection in support of military and humanitarian operations worldwide. PSU 301 maintains garrison facilities as a tenant command of Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod along with other Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and National Guard units.
