| Media invited to Northern Small Vessel Security Summit |
| BOSTON - The media is invited to attend the Northeastern Small Vessel Security Summit hosted by the Coast Guard June 7, from 9 a.m., until 4 p.m., at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay, Mass.
The goal of the forum is to allow attendees to discuss how to reduce risks and threats to smaller vessels on the water and to communicate security concerns in ports and along waterways of the Northeast. The summit format will consist of an address by Rear Adm. Brian Salerno, the assistant commandant for safety, security and stewardship at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, D.C., discussions about America's Waterways Watch program, small vessel security issues and a small vessel threat workshop.
