SAVANNAH, Ga. - Coast Guard Air Station Savannah and the Savannah State University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps are scheduled to host a joint training exercise to begin at 1 p.m. Saturday through 4 p.m. Sunday.

Air Station Guardians and Midshipmen from the Savannah State NROTC are hosting a Guardian Challenge for the Adm. Adolph H. Blumenfeld Division of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corp. 

During the exercise, cadets, who range in ages from 10-18 years-old, will endure a series of military-style challenges designed to teach leadership, fellowship, teamwork, and the Coast Guard core values of honor, respect and devotion to duty. The exercise is designed to prepare cadets for a sucessful military career.
