Rotating Tradition

Nowhere is tradition more important and more relevant in the Coast Guard than aboard the medium endurance cutters that make up the Coast Guard's deepwater fleet.

Coast Guard crews aboard these ships still rise in the morning to the sound of a boatswain's pipe, still "lay before the mast" and salute the American flag every time they cross the brow of their ship. One of the most lasting and prominent traditions is the ownership and commitment a cutterman has to the ship.

Faster, Stronger, Longer - The New MCH-65

The new MCH-65 may look like any other 65 out there, but this dolphin has teeth and it's ready to take a bite out of crime. All of the Coast Guard's Dolphin helicopters are being upgraded and re-designated as the Multi-Mission Cutter Helicopter.

The Cutter Oak: More Than A Buoy Tender

WOTA Day of Learning for the Women of Tomorrow

Roughly 80 girls from various Miami-area high schools are dropped off for a day of mentoring, leadership and inspiration. Aberbach35 Years of Unwavering Dedication

He saved countless lives in almost four decades of work, at sea and on land. He coordinated numerous coastal clean-ups and helped develop and implement Saturday night Auxiliary patrols.
