Petty Officer 3rd Class Matt Laub's done something no other Coast Guard rescue swimmer has ever done. He's passed Aviation Survival Technician "A" School - twice.

The first time Laub passed rescue swimmer school was in May 2003, when Laub's classmates were fellow Coast Guardsmen all eager to join the ranks of the Coast Guard's elite rescue swimmer corps. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Coast Guard held memorial services for Lt. Jessica Hill and Petty Officer 2nd Class Steven Duque after their deaths Aug. 17 in honor of their faithful service to the Coast Guard and their country.
