Bravo Zulu
A letter submitted to the Coastline staff
I would like to convey to CO Thomas D. Wade, CMC/MCPO Douglas Brossett and the crewmembers involved from Air Station Borinquen my utmost praise and admiration for the skills and abilities of the helicopter ( and plane ) crew whom were involved in the airlift of the ill patient from the Carnival Legend cruise ship on 01-18-06. Their rescue was amazing to watch from both a personal and professional viewpoint and their total appearance from the ship was one of complete competency and professionalism in the performance of that obviously difficult maneuver. As I was on my balcony at the very end of the boat directly under the helicopter at the time, I have some digital photos of the airlift which I would like to get to the personnel whom affected that rescue if someone can e-mail me the address to which I should send a CD. Again; both the helicopter and plane involved in this event have my utmost appreciation and applause for a job very well done.
Thank you,
Darlene
